	Call for Proposals


	The Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA) is seeking dynamic, informative, and engaging presentations for our upcoming monthly educational webinars. These webinars are a cornerstone of SAPAA's commitment to professional development and continuous learning within the workforce drug and alcohol testing industry. We invite proposals that encompass a broad range of topics relevant to our field that include general, intermediate, and advanced levels. Suggested content includes, but is not limited to: Innovations in workforce drug and alcohol testing Regulatory updates and compliance strategies Best practices in program administration Advances in evaluation and support Workplace policy development and implementation Emerging trends and research findings Webinars are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 2:00–3:00 p.m. (EST) and are held via Zoom. Presenters are asked to refrain from specific product or service endorsements, including the promotion of their own organization. Webinar presenters are not required to be SAPAA members, but must agree to abide by SAPAA's Code of Ethics and Standards. To submit a webinar proposal, please email info@sapaa.com with your proposed topic and description.

	SAPAA Conference Committee announces opening plenary session!


	"21st Century Marijuana: Products and Impacts" Amy Ronshausen Executive Director, Drug Free America Foundation, Inc. President, World Federation Against Drugs This plenary will fast walk attendees away from Woodstock Weed to 21st Century Marijuana. The presentation will explore new high THC products, their marketing strategies, and the impacts to use. There will be a specific emphasis on the impacts to mental health, especially in adolescents and young adults, as well as insight into the impacts on the workplace. The session will include products that are legal under the federal Farm ACT and are sold at your local corner store, such as Delta 8 and CBD.


	Amy Ronshausen is the Executive Director of both Drug Free America Foundation, Inc. and Save Our Society From Drugs (S.O.S.), national nonprofit organizations that work to prevent substance abuse, increase access to evidence based treatment, and promote sustained recovery.
