Strategic Planning: OGSM Model
Share |

Elected by the membership, SAPAA's Board of Directors is trusted to direct the Association and collaborate in the pursuit of our mission in both the short and long term.  The OGSM Model (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Measures) is a formal means of communicating the goals and strategies of the Board to achieve the mission of SAPAA and helps prioritize attention, resources, and time spent on each strategy.  An ancillary benefit is to facilitate the transition of key initiatives to new board members, enabling success in long term objectives as well as identifying what had previously been considered and not pursued.

Below are the 5-year goals for SAPAA, with progress noted toward completion.

Update:  The SAPAA Board of Directors met for the first time in 2019 recently and reviewed the OGSM strategies and actions completed through this point.  Measures for next steps were discussed and progress will be updated during the next Board meeting in July 2019.
