Upgrading Your SAP Qualifications!
SAPAA now offers a Substance Abuse Professional
training course that consist of a
manual, CD, and video that you can use
at your pace to refine your SAP
knowledge and work towards meeting the
new DOT eligibility requirements.
Cost is $279 Plus shipping & handling ($125 for test only)
The SAP course material allows you to do the following:
- Study at your pace.
- Choose the sections you need to put more emphasis on.
- Re-check your work
- Use the materials as a resource.
Note: Upon successful completion of the exam
your Certificate of Qualification is valid
only if you are a licensed Physician (Doctor
of Medicine or Osteopathy); or a licensed or
certified Social Worker; or a licensed or
certified Psychologist; or a licensed or
certified Employee Assistance Professional;
or an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor
certified by the National Association of
Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors
Certification Commission, or by the National
Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. and
Affiliates (NBCC), specifically NBCC's
Master Addictions Counselor (MAC), or by the
International Certification Reciprocity
Consortium/Alcohol and other Drug Abuse
(ICRC), or State-licensed or Certified Marraige and Family Therapist.
Completion of the SAP test will earn Substance Abuse Professionals 10 CME hours
or 16 PDHs.
