Alison Thierry-Hunt, M.B.A.T, R-CPCT, C.S.S., and holds a teaching credential in the California Community Colleges system. Ms. Hunt has been working in the field of occupational health and safety for over 21 years. Her company, Allied Safety & Health, provides a variety of services in the areas of occupational health and regulatory compliance.
Ms. Hunt has worked with the staff in some of the nation’s leading hospitals and medical groups; providing instructor facilitated DOT Urine Drug Collector and Breath Alcohol Technicianregulatory and equipment training. Allied Safety & Health is a resource for both evidential breath testing instruments and certification training.
Over the past decade, Ms. Hunt has been an educator for the American Medical Review Association (AAMRO), the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) and the U.S. DOT’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the U.S.A.F. She has provided expertise in both federal and non-regulated substance misuse policy review and compliance. She has experience as a collection site field auditor to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action.
In addition to her medical clientele, some industry clients include: Burns and Roe Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Kern County, CA, NVUSD, NASA and Sodexo Remote Sites Corporation. Over the years, clients have relied on Ms. Hunt’s company to be their resource for Substance Misuse Testing Policies, 49 CFR Part 40 technical assistance. DOT modes, including; FMCSA, FTA, FRA, PHMSA and USCG, training and program oversight.
