LORRI SMITH, C-SAPA, President of Integrity Testing & Safety Administrators, Inc., a national third party program administrator of DOT regulated drug and alcohol testing programs, specializing in FTA, FAA and FMCSA mandated requirements.
Since 1993, Ms. Smith has assisted employers in procedural development, implementation and management of all aspects of regulatory compliance for workplace drug & alcohol testing. In 2002, to honor her commitment of providing quality drug and alcohol program management and training to employers, Ms. Smith founded Integrity Testing & Safety Administrators, Inc.
Ms. Smith holds the distinction of being among the first drug and alcohol professionals to earn the title of Certified Substance Abuse Program Administrator (C-SAPA) in 1998, and is currently a Commissioner of the Substance Abuse Program Administrator’s Certification Commission (SAPACC), the accrediting body for C-SAPAs and Certified Drug and Alcohol Program Administrators (C-DAPAs) Agency specific certification.
Ms. Smith is an Instructor for Urine Specimen Collection Personnel, Breath Alcohol Technicians and a Certified Medical Review Officer Assistant. With a diverse background in many facets of drug and alcohol testing and a history in Occupational Medicine, Ms. Smith consults with employers on how to review and audit service agents for compliance and regularly performs service agent audits on behalf of employers.
Ms. Smith has developed and conducts an Agency specific training course for Designated Employer Representatives, as well as DOT Supervisor and Employee training.
Ms. Smith is an active member of the Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA) and the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA).
